Export of macronutrients for coffee fruits submitted to different doses of formulation 20-00-20

Abstract: The objective of this study was to quantify the export of macronutrients by coffee fruits Coffea canephora "Conilon -BRS Ouro Preto," under different doses of the fertilizer formulation 20-00-20 under rainfed conditions, in the Western Amazon. The treatments were six doses of fertilizer 20-00-20, in the proportions: 0; 250; 500; 1,000; 2,000; 3,000 kg ha À1 year À1 and the experimental design was completely randomized with 15 replications. There was a difference for the accumulation of dry mass, content and ex… Show more

“…Evaluating fruit, husk, and grain nutrient accumulation is important, especially to correctly manage crop fertilization. Genotypes showing similar N, P, and K results facilitate nutritional management due to the common use of ready-formulated fertilizers such as 20-05-20 and 20-0-20 [6,20]. Regarding nutrients such as N (highly demanded and liable to several losses in soil-plant-atmosphere systems), researchers must know their absorption and accumulation dynamics in the various organs of plants since nursery [21,22].…”

“…The nitrogen (N) status in plants and the availability of N in the soil exhibit interdependence with the production and partitioning of plant biomass in various species. In coffee plants, it has been demonstrated that N addition can lead to an increase in photosynthetic capacity, and large amounts of photosynthates are directed to the roots, necessary for the energetic metabolism of enzymes responsible for the assimilation and reduction of NO3 -(Torres et al, 2022).On the other hand, in the growth analysis of the 'Flying Dragon' rootstock [Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf. var.…”
