This paper reviewed the status of the construction and operation of OCW and MOOC, which have emerged as Open Course Ware in Korea, and discussed the ways to utilize them educationally. Korean OCW starting from 2007, has received content from universities and institutions, shared educational materials in the form of videos, documents, or e-learning. Korea also started MOOC in 2015. The two open course wares have somewhat overlapped meanings. Learners can use open course ware according to various purposes and interests, and instructors can use open course ware to induce learners' interest and voluntary participation through flipped or blended learning.
