Experimental Study on Compressive Strength of Brick Using Natural Fibres

Abstract: Despite the use of modern materials, clay bricks are reasonably preferable materials nowadays. However, the moo fetched and flexibility of clay bricks are not related with tall natural and feasible values, particularly with regard to crude fabric sources and fabricating processes. Agricultural world is growing fast, with increased rural arrive development and land cultivation leading to massive development of the agro-based industry leading to expansive amount of agrarian squanders which are not recycled. Ther… Show more

“…As a sustainable and flexible alternative to synthetic materials, cellulose fibers possess commendable tensile strength and renewable properties, making them suitable for diverse applications [21,22]. Current studies primarily focus on short fibers as reinforcement of the composite material [23,24]. However, fiber threads might present a promising potential for increased strength and improved structural integrity in the resulting 3D-printed soft-body clay [25,26].…”

“…Construction of commercial, industrial and residential structures was increased due to the rapid population growth. Therefore, the new technique in the construction industry got more demand to improve the time and cost effectively, flexible to construct and disaster resistant, serve the purpose and so on [1,2]. One of the successful methods is to use the locally available building material was boosted by the expansion of industries.…”

“…Cement is used as a soil stabilizer, allowing better interaction between materials and resulting in improved physical and mechanical properties. In this context, various studies mention the bricks stabilization using natural or synthetic particles, which results in a more resistant and more ductile composite material, which cannot avoid crack formation but controls their propagation (Montardo et al 2001;Specht et al 2002;Wang and He 2003;Malaiškiene et al 2011;Zhang 2013;Cristelo et al 2015;Laborel-Préneron et al 2016;Naidu and Kona 2018;Arunraj et al 2019).…”
