Experimental research and finite element analysis on the dynamic characteristics of concrete steel bridges with multi-cracks

Abstract: Complex bridges will inevitably have cracks in operation. Dynamic characteristics with crack structures have been researched central issues. In the past, few researches were conducted from the whole structure of bridges with multi-cracks. In the meanwhile, related experimental research and systematic numerical simulation were lacking. In addition, researches on cracks seldom considered the high-order vibration characteristics of structures with multi-cracks. Aimed at this problem, this paper selected the whole… Show more

“…However, it is difficult to locate the position of the bearing disengagement through vibration frequencies. 46 Figure 5 shows the vibration mode obtained using the frequency domain peak method under the condition of Job1 in the condition of without bearing disengagement. The vibration mode is a relative value and dimensionless, 32 so the commonly used mass-normalization treatment has been adopted for the vibration mode in this article.…”

“…The numerical computer simulation and methodology studied in this work offered a platform and reference for future analyses of steel reinforcing beams with different crack shapes or structural forms. Furthermore, the outline presented in this research may assist engineers in better understanding and applying the changing rule of influence of crack location and orientation on concrete steel beams [6].…”

“…Unlike other mathematical theories of the 20 th century, hypergraph theory is one of A hypergraph is a structure that describes complex relationships that can be explored among models during analysis and design of IS; it is a generalized graph theory that plays a vital role in discrete mathematics [27]. We start with its basic definitions:…”
