Experiences in Calibrating Small Format Cameras

Abstract: With the wider use of small format cameras for photogrammetric purposes and the requirement of companies to maintain a high level of quality assurance, there has been an increasing demand for the calibration and re-calibration of metric, semimetric and non-metric cameras. University College London has developed a technique for calibrating a range of small format cameras and this paper details the methods used and summarises the results obtained.
