Experience in use of biological coatings in complex treatment of extensive burn wounds

Abstract: The article presents the experience of successful surgical treatment of a patient with a severe burn injury using biological wound coatings with cadaveric skin grafts and dermal matrix afer wound debridement. Each of the presented biological coatings was evaluated on the basis of their clinical effectiveness (general condition of the patient, stage of the wound-healing process) and the results of microscopic examination of histological material during preparation of wounds for autotransplantation.
