Evolution of Nuclear Shapes in Light Nuclei from Proton- to Neutron-rich Side

Abstract: The PeV cosmogenic neutrino is still an interesting argument. Since cosmogenic neutrinos interact weakly with matter, the detection of their direction will precisely point out the source in the space. In this paper, we show the results of the simulation of tau lepton air showers induced by highenergy neutrinos detected by an array of stations designed to use the Earth Skimming method improved by the "mountain chain screen" strategy. Both track time stamp and position information of the stations on the array ar… Show more

“…For 26 S, shell model predictions with all four interactions have been done. USDB interaction gives better agreement with the experimental data for Si and S isotopes, except for 34 Si. For 34 Si, result obtained from JISP16 interaction is in good agreement with experimental value.…”

“…For JISP16 and USDB interactions, s 1/2 and d 3/2 orbitals almost overlap. As mentioned in the previous section, there is high-lying 2 + 1 state for 34 Si predicted by DJ16A and USDB interactions. This high excitation energy is due to sufficiently large energy difference between d 5/2 and s 1/2 orbitals.…”
