“…A simple delayed match-to-sample task using shape stimuli known to evoke the mismatch-triggered negativity component was shown with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to result in increased activity in the right anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) and also in the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) (Zhang et al, 2008).
