Évaluer la compétence lexicale d’adultes francophones : selon quels critères ?

Abstract

Evaluating the lexical competence of French-speaking adults: according to what criteria?This contribution focuses on the evaluation of lexical competence among a public of French-speaking adults. The concrete objective of our work is to identify criteria that inform the choice of the type of exercises to be included in an evaluative test, the choice of lexical units to be tested, and how the degree of difficulty of these lexical units is assessed. To this end, it analyses the results obtained in a writing skills test including lexical exercises, and identifies areas for improvement.
