The relevance of this study is conditioned by the fact that the law on education in the Republic of Kazakhstan was updated in 2020, which allows for considering the training of a future physics teacher from a new perspective. The purpose of this study is to develop and introduce instructional foundations for improving the system of professional and methodical training of future physics teachers in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Several models of this system are considered in detail: structural and multilevel. It has been proven that the basis of the system of methodical training for a future physics teacher is the course “Methods of teaching subjects (physics)”. For this purpose, the following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis, design, logical analysis, and the positions of scientific objectivity, systematisation in the study of the professional and methodical training of future physics teachers in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The paper provides a detailed description of the analysed discipline (goals, objectives, principles of choosing the content and design of pedagogical material, and features of the organisation of the educational process). This study provides vital insights into the development and implementation of improved training systems for future physics teachers in Kazakhstan. By focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of teacher training and aligning them with labor market demands, it sets a precedent for creating more effective and adaptable educational frameworks. These advancements not only enhance the professional competencies of future physics teachers but also promise to elevate the quality of physics education in the region, ultimately contributing to the betterment of educational standards and practices.

The goal of the study is to investigate the willingness of future teachers to apply innovative productive teaching methods in their direct work. Future teachers took part in the written survey (N0=141), students of other specialities and established professionals (N1=N2=28). Fisher's φ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, biserial correlation coefficient, Kendall's τ correlation coefficient, Student's t-test (p ≤ 0.01) were used to statistically evaluate the results It is shown that future teachers from the proposed options choose mainly reproductive methods, and freely formulate informative methods. The most significant differences were revealed between the samples of future teachers and “adults” who do not have pedagogical training, which indicates the choice of methods not based on knowledge in the professional sphere, but on the basis of everyday ideas characteristic of this generation. It can be concluded that future teachers are really not ready to apply innovative productive methods in their practice, preferring more traditional informative and reproductive ones. This poses the task of finding ways to introduce into pedagogical practice those methods, theoretical reasoning about which is oversaturated in modern scientific and educational discourse.

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the attitudes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi and Senior Secondary School Anagada towards reading interest.Methodology: This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi and SMA Anagada. The sampling technique used simple random sampling so that 60 students were obtained. The data collection technique in this research is by distributing reading interest and attitude questionnaires to students via Google Form which contains positive and negative statements for each student. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics.Main Findings: The results of the research show that the attitudes of high school students towards learning physics tend to be in the good category. Then it was discovered that high school students' reading interest in physics learning tended to be in the good and very good categories. These findings can be the basis for further research to further explore the factors that influence students' reading preferences. It is hoped that further research can provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics of high school students' interest in reading.Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that this research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method that describes students' learning attitudes and reading interest in high school students' physics subjects. This can provide valuable insight into curriculum development, teaching methods, and efforts to increase student interest and understanding of reading material in physics
