“…Hence, the use of basalt fibers for the fabrication of composite materials and the determination of their mechanical properties have attracted considerable attention in recent years. The tensile, compression, flexural, impact, creep, abrasive wear, fracture, and interlaminar shear strength properties of basalt fiber reinforced composites have been explored in a number of researches , and there are several numbers of researches related with the incorporation of basalt fibers with the fibers of other reinforcement materials, such as glass , carbon , nylon , aramid , hemp , jute , glass/flax , glass/hemp , flax/hemp . Compared to those of neat glass, carbon, nylon, jute, hemp and aramid fiber composites, improvements in impact strength and energy absorption were reported for the basalt/glass , basalt/carbon , basalt/nylon , basalt/jute , basalt/hemp , and basalt/aramid hybrid composites, respectively.…”

“…6 Compared to CFRP, BFRP possesses a very similar high temperature working ability at a lower cost, thus making BFRP a strong competitor in some applications. [7][8][9] In addition, the hybridization of fibers with different characteristics is commonly used for designing composite structures to achieve ductility or stiffness requirements. Thus, because of the promising BFRP and potential hybrid applications, an investigation of the interlaminar shear behavior of BFRP and hybrid FRP layered laminates is the emphasis of the current research.…”

“…Generally, the larger the CV value is, the greater the variability is in the data [37]. It has won its advantages in cross concept analysis and been widely applied in biomedicine, environmental analysis, manufacturing, dynamics study and many other fields [38][39][40][41][42][43]. The traditional analysis based on standard deviation (SD) reflects the degree of fluctuation of a random variable.…”
