In this therapeutic method, the atmospheric pressure low-temperature plasma (ALTP) [35] is used to treat ocular surface disorders such as conjunctival cyst [36] and conjunctivochalasis [37] and doubtless they had already assessed the safety of this method in animal models using histopathological examinations and cytokine factors assessments [38].
