“…According to our previous study that the linolic acid group could be oxidized by lipoxygenase to yield linoleic acid hydroperoxide, LA-OPA was subjected to the oxidization, and the generation of the corresponding LAOOH-OPA was monitored by the absorption spectrum and the thiobarbituric acid (TBA) assay . In the presence of lipoxygenase, the unsaturated linoleic acid was oxidated and the conjugated diene would be generated, with a characteristic absorption at 235 nm in UV–vis spectrum .
