Evaluation of functional indices of left ventricular wall layers using layer-specific strain analysis in normotensive and hypertensive patients

Abstract: Background: In systemic hypertension, left ventricular remodeling results in an increase in ventricular wall thickness due to augmented ventricular afterload.
