Evaluation of Effectiveness of Concentrated Growth Factors on Osseointegration Around Immediate Dental Implant

Abstract: Aim: This study was designed to evaluate of using concentrated growth factors membrane (CGF) membrane mixed with concentrated growth factors (CGF) sticky bone around immediate implant versus immediate implant placement without any addition in mandibular molar area. Subjects and Methods: Twelve implant fixtures were inserted in 12 patients divided equally into two groups. The patients were selected from those attending outpatient clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, at the Faculty of Dental Medici… Show more

“…The ISQ measurements at week one and at one month were significantly higher in the study group than in the control group that did not receive any addition to the implant osteotomy (21). In another study by Mohamed AE et al to evaluate the effect of CGF on implant stability, immediate implant placement with CGF membrane/ CGF sticky bone showed a significant increase in secondary stability after six months which was also consistent with results of this study (22). Bone density analysis showed a significant increase in mean bone density values for both groups.…”

“…To obtain the optimal therapeutic efficacy, these biomolecules need to be immobilized from the surface of implants (gao et al, 2009; bosco et al, 2012). for this purpose, a wide variety of biomolecules such as growth factors, bioactive proteins, enzymes, and non-viral genes (DNAs, rNAs) are currently being evaluated pre-clinically (Tonetti, Hämmerle and european Workshop on Periodontology group C, 2008;Shimono et al, 2010;Quesada-garcía et al, 2012;Arya et al, 2019;mohamed, el-mohandes and el-feky, 2019).…”
