“… 23 However, other researchers failed to find any meaningful difference between NLR values in benign and malignant endometrial groups. 15 , 22 , 36 In the present study, the NLR was higher in the EC group than in the benign group (p=0.016), which is in line with prior studies. Bacanakgil et al reported that an NLR of ≥ 4 significantly differentiated endometrial pathologies before intervention in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding.…”

“…Eight studies relating MPV to endometrial cancer were identified, including 1707 patients from China and Turkey [ 66 , 67 , 68 , 69 , 70 , 71 , 72 , 73 ] ( Table 4 ). In all studies, including a control group, MPV was increased in cancer versus healthy patients [ 66 , 67 , 69 , 70 , 71 , 73 ].…”

In all studies, including a control group, MPV was increased in cancer versus healthy patients [ 66 , 67 , 69 , 70 , 71 , 73 ]. The relation of MPV with cancer staging was less clear, as in two studies, no relation was found [ 68 , 71 ] and in one study, MPV was negatively related to the cancer stage [ 67 ].…”

“…The patients included in this study were pathologically diagnosed with endometrial cancer, and they did not receive any treatment before diagnosis. Blood samples were taken from the patients with the complaint of abnormal uterine bleeding, and all samples were taken before the endometrial biopsy performed 9 . The following patients were excluded: those with blood disease, diabetes mellitus, kidney disease, acute inflammation, anemia, and cardiovascular disease; those who have recently undergone iron therapy and blood transfusion (within the last 3 months); and those with venous thrombosis for >6 months.…”
