“…The distribution characteristics of roxithromycin in the body conform to the two-compartment model, with a time-dependent antibacterial effect, which suggests a promising therapeutic outcome [13,14]. Gamma globulin, the main effector molecule of the immune system, is produced by β cells of the lymphatic system [15]. Intravenous injection of gamma globulin leads to enhancement of the immune system and mitigation of toxic reactions, thereby ensuring complete elimination of viruses and bacteria [16][17][18].…”

“…Several studies showed that a high NLR is correlated with a low GCS. For example, the patients suffering from severe traumatic brain injury usually experience alterations in cellular immune function in the first 7 days, with nearly 75% of them developing pulmonary infections [5,20]. Serum urea and creatinine, other two important biomarkers quantified in the current study are important parameters for patients' evolution.…”

“…Serum urea and creatinine, other two important biomarkers quantified in the current study are important parameters for patients' evolution. It should be noted that their values usually normalize as long as the complications (inflammatory syndrome, septic shock, pulmonary embolism) are avoided [5,20]. In addition, C-reactive protein (CRP) was another serum parameters which was quantified in the present work.…”

“…There are various publications indicating that urea, creatinine, blood glucose or even infection markers may change in addition to bleeding due to head traumas (24,25). Since one of the biggest problems related to head traumas may be internal bleeding, it has been reported that there may be a greater decrease in HGB and HTC values in severe cases (moderate and severe head traumas requiring hospitalization), and it has been found that the decrease in the rate of HGB and HCT may be greater in cases with more hemorrhage in direct proportion with the increase in the severity of the trauma (1-26-27).…”
