Abstract:In the present experiment, Tricholepis glaberrima DC has been taken to study its antidepressant activity. The study was carried out in two different doses of the test drug. The animals were divided into 4 groups of 5 animals each, respectively. Mice in Group I (control) and II (standard) were administered distilled water, per oral and Imipramine 10mg/kg, per oral once respectively.
