“…5,6 SnO 2 is a degenerate semiconductor when it is non-stoichiometric due to oxygen vacancies or tin interstitials. [7][8][9][10] Pure and doped SnO 2 thin films on glass substrates are extensively used as electrodes in thin film photovoltaic solar cells. 11 Tin oxide films doped with fluorine (SnO 2 :F) are of the most commonly used transparent conducting oxides, because of easy fabrication, low cost, stability, and adequate performance.…”

“…The highest doping efficiency is found to be 6.65% for 3 at.% Pr doping ratio. Although these results suggest that Pr element is not a good electron donor like Sb and F elements, its efficiency is close to those of Nb, Nd and W elements [8,44,45]. Mobility value of undoped SnO 2 film slightly increases from 18.96 to 19.99 cm 2 V −1 s −1 with increasing Pr doping content.…”

“…In the literature, although there are some studies on Nd, V, V/F, Nb, Nb/F, Mo, Mo/F, W, W/F, Cr, F, Sb-doped SnO 2 thin films, it is still important to make studies about improving and controlling properties of SnO 2 which is one of the most important TCOs. For this reason, a comparison of improving percentage of electrical and optical properties with the literature [8,14,16,20,39,45,47,[54][55][56][57] is made in Table 4. According to Table 4, some elements gave rise to a serious improvement in only one property (electrical or optical), a part of them introduced an average increment in both properties.…”

“…The obtained results revealed that conductivity of the deposited films was dependent on structure of films and substrate temperature. The doping effect of neodymium (Nd) on the characteristics properties of tin oxide thin films was investigated [13]. The optical, electrical, crystallographic and morphological characterizations revealed that neodymium doping significantly influenced the properties of tin oxide thin films.…”
