Evaluating the impact of Internet provision on students’ information-gathering strategies

Abstract: This paper explores the use of the World Wide Web (WWW) as a teaching and learning tool. In particular, it focuses on the impact of new technology on students' learning. An investigative study was undertaken using two cohorts of students taking modules supported by WWW pages. Two modules were selected.
