Abstract: Aim:Root canal irrigation using a mixture of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCL) and chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX) might cause a precipitate to develop. This study aims to check the efficacy of sodium thiosulfate and normal saline as irrigating solutions. Materials and methods: Roots of 45 teeth were biomechanically prepared, and the teeth were then tested. A size 15k file was introduced to the point where the apical foramen could be visible in order to provide an accurate reading of the working length.
