Again, this result is consistent with the fact that, in comparison to other stages of life, adolescence is strongly associated with feelings related to anxiety, which in turn makes it more difficult for young people to properly regulate and ensure a proper level of autonomy until a certain degree of personality development has been reached (Byrne, 2000; Filella et al, 2016; Massot, 2003).
