Eurockot Lauch Services - Canada's Reliable Partner in Space

Peter.Freeborn@ space.eads.net; Anna.Zorina@ space.eads.net; http://www.eurockot.com Eurockot Launch Services GmbH is the German-Russian joint venture owned by EADS SPACE Transportation and by Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, one of the leading space technology companies in Russia. Eurockot provides commercial launch services to operators of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites using the Russian Rockot launch vehicle. The Rockot launch vehicle is a three stage liquid fuelled rocket based on the former Russian SS-19 strategic missile. Rockot has an excellent flight heritage. Launches are performed from state-of-the-art facilities at Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Northern Russia. Eurockot has already performed five successful launches and its backlog comprises three further launches. The reliability and functionality of the Rockot Launch System, ground processes and facilities have been successfully demonstrated during Eurockot's past launches.
