Abstract: L'emploi d'ordinateurs dans la recherche scientifique n'est plus une nouveauté. En dix ans, le « traitement automatique de l'Information » s'est haussé au rang d'une spécialité, bientôt d'une discipline originale, avec ses techniciens — ingénieurs, mathématiciens, logiciens — ses instituts, ses journaux, et, naturellement, ses congrès.
