Abstract:Doenças transmitidas por alimentos (DTA) são aquelas causadas pela ingestão de alimentos e/ou água contaminados. Existem mais de 250 tipos de DTA no mundo, sendo que a maioria delas são infecções causadas por bactérias e suas toxinas, vírus e outros parasitas.
