In the present work TiO 2 nanotubes (TNT) have been synthesized by alkaline hydrothermal transformation. Then they have been doped with Gd element. Characterizations of doped and undoped TNT have been done with TEM and SEM. The chemical composition was analyzed by EDX, Raman and FTIR spectroscopy. The crystal structure was characterized by XRD. Carbon paste electrode has been fabricated and mixed with Gd doped and undoped TNT to form a nanocomposite working electrode. Comparison of bare carbon paste electrode and Gd doped and undoped TNT carbon paste electrode for 1.0 ×10 −3 M K 4 [Fe(CN) 6 ] voltammetric analysis; it was observed that Gd doped TNT modified electrode has advantage of high sensitivity. Gd doped TNT modified electrode has been used as working electrode for itopride assay in a pharmaceutical formulation. Cyclic voltammetry analysis showed high correlation coefficient of 0.9973 for itopride (0.04-0.2 mg/mL) with a limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation values (LOQ) of 2.9 and 23.0 µg.mL −1 respectively.

Domperidone and Itopride are pro-kinetic agents, regulating the gastric motility and are commonly prescribed as anti emetic drugs. In the present study a simple, rapid and sensitive RP-HPLC/UV method was developed for simultaneous determination of Domperidone and Itopride in pharmaceutical samples and human plasma, using Tenofavir as internal standard. Experimental conditions were optimized and method was validated according to the standard guidelines. Combination of water (pH 3.0) and acetonitrile (65:35 v/v) was used as mobile phase, pumped at the flow rate of 1.5 ml/min. Detector wavelength was set at 210 nm and column oven temperature was 40oC. Unlike conventional liquid-liquid extraction, simple precipitation technique was applied for drug extraction from human plasma using acetonitrile for deprotienation. The method showed adequate separation of both the analytes and best resolution was achieved using Hypersil BDS C8 column (150 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm). The method was quite linear in the range of 20-600 ng/ml. Recovery of the method was 92.31% and 89.82% for Domperidone and Itopride, respectively. Retention time of both the analytes and internal standard was below 15 min. The lower limit of detection (LLOD) and lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) for Domperidone were 5 and 10 ng/ml while for Itopride was 12 and 15 ng/ml, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied for in-vivo analysis of fast dispersible tablets of Domperidone in healthy human volunteer. The proposed method was a part of formulation development study and was efficiently applied for determination of the two drugs in various pharmaceutical products and human plasma.

Graph Feature Extraction is the task to collect any important feature on the graph image so the extracted data can be further processed. In this paper, it is assumed that the graph consists only one single curve. The extracted features here are graph title, axis title, axis values, legend, scales, and curve values.To find the Region Of Interest (ROI) of the graph image, pixel projection is adopted. This is necessary to find the possible information location in the graph image. After the location has been located, then the alphanumeric data such as graph title, axis texts, and the legend of the graph are processed by the OCR (Optical Character Recognition).The values of the graph line is extracted by performing the scale calculation, and then, using the scale, the line pixel position is calculated to find the numeric data of the graph.The extracted data can be used for further processing such as graph interpretation system, pattern recognition, pattern abstraction, automatic graph reader system, etc. The data also can be used to analyze the graph when the graph came in the image form and is needed to be converted into numeric form.
