Estimation of Extreme Met‐Ocean Conditions for Offshore Engineering Applications

Abstract: Engineers design structures are often expected to withstand extreme environmental loads. In the context of offshore engineering, such loads are due largely to very high waves and winds that occur relatively infrequently.
