Especificidades De Ativos E Alianças Estratégicas No Setor Farmacêutico Brasileiro

Abstract

Resumo: Embora a literatura sobre alianças estratégicas tenha ganhado espaço na agenda dos pesquisadores, ainda não existe consenso sobre a relação dos atributos da transação na formação das alianças estratégicas. Por considerar a existência de uma lacuna nessa relação, o trabalho se propõe a analisar a influência da especificidade dos ativos na formação de alianças estratégicas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, desenvolvida com base em dados secundários. Foi testado um conjunto de hipóteses relacionando especificidades de ativos e alianças. Os dados foram coletados em 1.353 bulas de medicamentos registrados no Bulário Eletrônico da ANVISA. Os resultados do estudo sugerem evidências compatíveis com as hipóteses formuladas, comprovando influência de ativos específicos como forma, categoria e prescrição de medicamentos na formação de alianças. Conclui-se que as especificidades de forma farmacêutica do medicamento, categoria regulatória e prescrição médica favorecem a existência de alianças estratégicas com diferentes intensidades.Palavras-chave: Governança; Estratégia; Atributos da Transação. SPECIFICITIES OF ASSETS AND STRATEGIC ALLIANCES IN BRAZILIAN PHARMACEUTICAL SECTORAbstract: Although the literature on strategic alliances has gained space in the researchers schedule, there is no consensus on the relationship of the attributes of the transaction in the formation of strategic alliances. Considering the existence of a gap in this relationship, the study aims to analyze the influence of asset specificity in the formation of strategic alliances. This is a descriptive research, developed based on secondary data. Was tested a hypotheses set relating to specific assets and alliances. Data were collected on 1,353 inserts for medicines registered in the Electronic Register of ANVISA. The study results suggest evidence consistent with the hypotheses, demonstrating the influence (P < 0.05) of specific assets such as shape, category and prescription medications on alliances. Conclude that the specific pharmaceutical drug form, regulatory category and medical prescription favor the existence of strategic alliances with different intensities.
