ESBL Positive Organisms: Method of Routine Reporting and Prevalence in Health Care Settings

Abstract: Extended Spectrum ß-Lactamase (ESBL) acquired by bacteria is a highly effective weapon for drug resistance against a wide range of antibiotics (penicillins, cephalosporins and monobactams).
