Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, Prognosis, and Treatment of Systolic and Diastolic Heart Failure

Abstract: Underlying causes, risk factors, and precipitating causes of heart failure (HF) should be treated. Drugs known to precipitate or aggravate HF such as nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs should be stopped.
