Epidemiology of Cervical Cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 10 Years (2007-2016)

Abstract: Invasive cervical cancer is the most common form of gynecological cancer in Kazakhstan, which occupies the 5th position among all neoplasias and the 10th place in mortality of the general population. The national cervical screening program in the Republic of Kazakhstan uses cytology (Pap test) from 2008, which is free of charge for women aged 30 to 60 years with an interval of 5 years.
