Epidemiology and Epizootology of Cystic Echinococcosis in Romania 1862–2007

Abstract: Infections with cestodes from genus Echinococcus are usually acquired by oral ingestion of eggs, direct contact with carriers, and contaminated food (especially vegetables) or water.
