The rise in population amidst climate change has exerted undue pressure on food production and security. Rice production has also been adversely affected by rising temperature and varying rainfall resulting in reduced productivity. In order to cope with the negative impact of climate change events on rice production, farmers need strengthen and improve their adaptive capacity. Therefore, a study was conducted to empirically estimate the factors affecting the adoption of Climate Smart Agricultural ( CSA) practices in rice production. Multistage sampling procedure was employed to select the representative rice farmers for the study. With the aid of oral interview and questionnaires, information were elicited from 90 farmers. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tools and univariate probit model. Results revealed that majority ( 62.5 percent) of rice farmers were women, 75 percent were married, 67.5 percent were within economically active age and 85 percent had post primary education. Findings further showed that education level of farmers, family size, farm income and access to information on climate change were positively and directly related to rice farmers willingness to adopt climate smart agricultural practices at 1 percent and 5 percent levels of significance respectively. Result also showed that about 55.85 percent of rice farmers in the study location received information on climate change from village meetings, friends, relatives and other farmers. Agricultural policies that aimed at increasing incomes of rice farmers and creating awareness on climate change will be rational decision.

This study aims to determine, study and analyze character education management and its effectiveness at SDIT Al-Fityan School Gowa and SDIT Al-Biruni Mandiri Makassar. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The method of collecting data is through interviews with school principals, vice principals for curriculum affairs, students, homerooms and teachers. Other data sources are through observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that character education planning begins with establishing the school's vision, mission, goals and programs, as well as determining character values, designing a curriculum that integrates character values into an integrated syllabus and lesson plans based on Islamic education. The organization of character education is carried out by the principal through coordination between elements, division of tasks based on SOPs, controlling and evaluating. implementation. Implementation of character education through (1) integrating character values into Islamic values-based learning, (2) through apperception activities or morning briefings, (3) mentoring activities or Islamic Personal Development, (4) Al-Qur'an mentoring, outing class and outbound. Character education is also carried out through extracurricular activities, habituation of worship and Islamic etiquette, modeling and school culture. Supervision of character education from the principal, and homeroom supervision of students through mutaba'ah/scoring boards. The implementation of character education has formed students who are able to be religious, able to apply Islamic etiquette, very good in tolerance, speak politely, independently, help, socially care, honest, disciplined, confident, cooperative and responsible.

Fermentation processes have been known since ancient times and are widely used in the production of food, beverages, and other areas. One of the most well‐known fermented products is bread. It plays an important role in human nutrition because of the valuable compounds it contains. The growing population leads to an increase in global bread consumption and other bakery products. Simultaneously, in developed countries, declining consumption trends are observed. Understanding the complex interplay between socio‐economic dynamics, food production policies, and the dietary patterns of society is crucial for shaping effective strategies that align with the principles of a sustainable and resilient food system. The aim of this study was to determine bread consumption trends in Poland. Data were obtained from the Household Budget Surveys carried out by Statistics Poland. The study considered the period from 1978 to 2020 and was performed in three dimensions: socio‐economic groups, the number of people in households, and income quintile groups. A decreasing trend in bread consumption was observed within the analyzed period in all three socio‐economic groups. Based on the analysis of the relationship between bread consumption and income level per capita, the same observation was made. There was no correlation between the amount of bread consumed and the number of people in the household. The obtained data are determined by many factors, including prices of bread, demographic changes, dietary patterns, and education in the field of human nutrition.
