In June-September 2021, Surakarta experienced a long dry season as a result of global climate change, creating high temperatures that interfere with working comfort. In the textile industry, these conditions can make the workplace hotter than usual. In addition, the presence of very high noise and increased physical workload can trigger physiological stress events for weaving workers. The Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement (CARE) throughout Indonesia, restriction of people's movement to daily work, especially for unvaccinated workers. This condition has an impact on the activities of the textile industry sector, restrictions on the number of workers, trigger a shortage of manpower, forcing available workers to carry out more overtime to get the company's production targets. The increase in overtime causes workers to experience an increase in physical workload than usual. This study is to investigate the direct impact of this phenomenon and corrective action analysis can be carried out. This cross-sectional study included 47 workers of the weaving section in IT Co. Ltd Surakarta, Indonesia using a sound level meter and fitness tracker to measured physical workload, environmental noise, and physiological stress. This study showed physical workload (p=0.005, r=0.745) and environmental noise exposure (p=0.021, r=0,886) has a significant correlation toward physiological stress. Noise and workload control by using a hierarchy of control are urgently needed to reduce the incidence of physiological stress in the workplace.

A working environment with high temperatures impacts the employees to encounter fluid loss which leads to the reduction of urine production, thus the urine production becomes concentrated. If this condition lasts for a long time, there will be satu ration of the urine. This present study used a cross-sectional design with 32 employees of the tofu factory as the respondent in Tandang Village, Semarang. The most related variable with urine crystallization is water drinking consumption which is the most influential variable in the occurrence of urine crystallization. Employees who consume water drinking insufficient amounts have a probability crystallization of 41.80% compared to employees who consume less water drinking, namely the probability of urine crystallization of 98.81. From this equation, it can be interpreted that employees have a risk of urine crystallization of 0.4230 times. From the eight variables studied, there are four variables (age, water drinking consumption, heat density, and the level of dehydration) that had a statistically significant relationship with urine crystallization. Mea nwhile, the most dominant variable based on the logistic regression test is air consumption.

Introduction: Research in occupational heat stress and heat strain in developing countries is limited because of several challenges and constraints.Objectives: To describe the prevalence of heat strains of diesel power plant operators and analyze the related factors.Method: Cross-sectional design has been carried out on the diesel power plant operators in the Indonesian state electricity company (N=35). The research variables consisted of heat strain, age, working period, nutritional status, hydration status and heat stress. Measuring instruments used consisted of a heat strain score index (HSSI), heat stress monitor, weight scale, microtoise, and questionnaire. Cramer's V test and odds ratio were applied to see an association between heat strain prevalence and related factors.Results: 35.8% of diesel power plant operators experienced heat strain in the yellow zone/alarm category, 64.2% was included in the green zone/save category. The heat strain experienced by the operator was significantly related to age (p=0.000), years of service (p=0.000), hydration status (p=0.057) and heat stress (p=0.000). Conclusion:The occurrence of heat strains began to show the alarm stage, this requires efforts to control heat pressure and others variables in order to prevent the heat strain does not get worse.
