Entropy-Argumentative Concept of Computational Phonetic Analysis of Speech Taking into Account Dialect and Individuality of Phonation

Abstract: In this article, the concept (i.e., the mathematical model and methods) of computational phonetic analysis of speech with an analytical description of the phenomenon of phonetic fusion is proposed. In this concept, in contrast to the existing methods, the problem of multicriteria of the process of cognitive perception of speech by a person is strictly formally presented using the theoretical and analytical apparatus of information (entropy) theory, pattern recognition theory and acoustic theory of speech forma… Show more

“…Generally, resilience can be defined as the ability of an economy, society, organization or individual to recover effectively from an unexpected shock. This rough definition of resilience raises two related questions: what it means to "recover" and what we mean by an effective recovery [4]. Perrings C. gives a definition of resilience as "the ability of the system to withstand either market or environmental shocks without losing the capacity to allocate resources efficiently or to deliver essential services" leaves the term of analysis indeterminate [8].…”

“…Because of its prominence as the language of formal instruction, English has become a significant mode of communication among Indian children [ 3 ]. However, the aforementioned reading miscues can significantly degrade ASR efficacy [ 4 , 5 , 6 ]. Therefore, ASR systems should continue to expand in order to more effectively process children’s speech from a non-native population.…”
