Work with molluscs also suggests a complex interaction of opioids with dopamine (Bezrukova & Solntseva, 1981; Juel, 1982; Solntseva, Bezrukova, & Amosova, 1983; Stefano, 1982). Because dopamine is known to stimulate FMP in Limax (Wieland & Gelperin, 1983), our results suggest that U50,488H might enhance the FMP response to dopamine just as it enhanced lip-stimulated FMP.…”
