Enhancement of Two-Photon Absorption in Quantum Wells for Extremely Nondegenerate Photon Pairs

Abstract: We recently demonstrated orders of magnitude enhancement of two-photon absorption (2PA) in direct gap semiconductors due to intermediate state resonance enhancement for photons of very different energies.
