Enhanced photovoltaic properties of perovskite solar cells by TiO 2 homogeneous hybrid structure

Abstract: In this paper, we fabricated a TiO2 homogeneous hybrid structure for application in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) under ambient conditions. Under the standard air mass 1.5 global (AM 1.5G) illumination, PSCs based on homogeneous hybrid structure present a maximum power conversion efficiency of 5.39% which is higher than that of pure TiO2 nanosheets. The enhanced properties can be explained by the better contact of TiO2 nanosheets/nanoparticles with CH3NH3PbI3 and fewer pinholes in electron transport materials.… Show more

“…When perovskite films were deposited by the one-step spin-coating method, nucleation occurs right after the drop of an antisolvent and the resulting supersaturation in the residual solution. On the smooth and dense bl-SnO 2 substrate, homogeneous nucleation first occurs on the top zone of the precursor solution induced by the evaporation of the solvent. During the subsequent crystal growth process, the supersaturation on the top zone was still higher than that on the bottom zone due to the continuous evaporation of the solvent. On the other hand, there are few nucleation sites and low supersaturation on the bottom of the precursor solution .…”

“…We isolated total genomic DNA from peripheral blood leukocytes using the TIANamp Blood DNA Kit (TianGen Biotech Co., Ltd., Beijing, China) 28 . The miR-423 rs6505162 C>A polymorphism was genotyped using the TaqMan real-time PCR methodas described previously 31 - 33 . Genotyping was performed blind to the status of the case or control.…”

“…There are many reports about the effects of TiO 2 ‐based NPs on the enhanced performance of PV devices, but less research is now carried out on c‐Si solar cells . Herein, we report on the potential application of TiO 2 and magnesium oxide (MgO)‐doped TiO 2 NPs to improve the conversion efficiency of commercial single junction mono‐Si solar cells.…”

“…Moreover, the high surface area and porous structure allow multiple reflections of incident light and provide a good scattering effect, which enhances the light harvesting capability of TiO 2 across a wide wavelength. [23][24][25] There are many reports about the effects of TiO 2 -based NPs on the enhanced performance of PV devices, 23,25,26 but less research is now carried out on c-Si solar cells. 27,28 Herein, we report on the potential application of TiO 2 and magnesium oxide (MgO)-doped TiO 2 NPs to improve the conversion efficiency of commercial single junction mono-Si solar cells.…”
