A higher concentration of oxygen vacancies was found in Sr 2.7– x Ca x Nd 0.3 Fe 2 O 7−δ than in Sr 2.7– x Ca x La 0.3 Fe 2 O 7−δ as a result of the smaller ionic radius of Nd 3+ compared to La 3+ , thereby leading to stronger lattice distortions of the crystal structures.…”

“…In addition to O-site doping, A-site doping in RP perovskites by Ca 2+ or Na + has also received increasing attention recently. The influence of the Ca 2+ doping amount on the photocatalytic activity of Sr 3.2– x Ca x La 0.8 Fe 1.5 Co 1.5 O 10−δ ( x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.8) for MB degradation has been investigated . Ca 2+ doping substantially enhanced the photocatalytic activity of pristine Sr 3.2 La 0.8 Fe 1.5 Co 1.5 O 10−δ as a result of the suppressed band gap, improved sunlight absorption capability, reduced particle size, and higher oxygen amount in the RP perovskites, which enhanced the electron conductivity at room temperature, thereby reducing the possibility of electron–hole pair recombination.…”
