Energy Consumption of a Battery Electric Vehicle with Infinitely Variable Transmission

Abstract: Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) represent a possible sustainable solution for personal urban transportation. Presently, the most limiting characteristic of BEVs is their short range, mainly because of battery technology limitations.
