Endoscopic Ultrasonography-guided Fine-needle Aspiration Revealed Metastasis-induced Acute Pancreatitis in a Patient with Adrenocortical Carcinoma

Abstract: A 26-year-old woman complained of upper abdominal pain. Computed tomography (CT) showed acute pancreatitis, a left adrenal tumor and solitary right pulmonary metastasis. She underwent left adrenalectomy; the adrenal tumor was diagnosed as adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC). When preparing to resect the pulmonary metastasis, she suffered a second acute pancreatic attack.
