Abstract:The case of a fourteen-year-old patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with severe activity index and immunosuppressive treatment is described. He went to the Pediatric Emergency Department of the Carlos Andrade Marín Specialty Hospital, for presenting fever, headache, nausea, auditory hallucinations and paresis in the lower extremities.
