Encefalitis Por Virus Herpes Humano Tipo 6 en Una Adolescente Con Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico. Primer Caso Reportado en El Ecuador.

Abstract: The case of a fourteen-year-old patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with severe activity index and immunosuppressive treatment is described. He went to the Pediatric Emergency Department of the Carlos Andrade Marín Specialty Hospital, for presenting fever, headache, nausea, auditory hallucinations and paresis in the lower extremities.
