“…Sarcoma of the temporal bone is extremely rare, but is more common in tissues intimately related to it. Rhabdomyosarcoma is the commonest of such tumours, two cases being reported by Fagundes, Cutin and Castro (1961), 972 two by Stobbe and Dargeon (1950), and one case each by Fairman (1963), Holman (1956) and Mehra (i960). All these cases presented with a swelling of the mastoid process, or a polyp in the external auditory meatus, followed soon by facial paralysis.…”
