Electrode Layout Optimization and Numerical Simulation of Cast Conductive Asphalt Concrete Steel Bridge Deck Pavement

Abstract: In order to obtain the optimal electrode layout and ice melting effect of cast conductive asphalt concrete steel bridge deck pavement, firstly, pouring conductive asphalt concrete was prepared; secondly, different electrode materials and layout methods were selected to test the heating rate of the specimen from start to 120 min, and the electrode materials and layout methods were optimized. Then, the finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to build the model for heating and ice melting simulation, and … Show more

“…η orig − η ss lg t ss − t orig (5) Firstly, the optimal constitutive equation of the thixotropic structure of mastic asphalt binder materials is obtained by fitting experimental data by using an extended exponential model to obtain initial shear viscosity η orig and steady shear viscosity η ss , and then the time t ss − t orig corresponding to the reduction of initial shear viscosity η orig to steady shear viscosity η ss is obtained from experimental data. The initial shear viscosity η orig is often considered as zero shear viscosity, so the corresponding time t orig is zero, so the time required for viscosity change can be considered as t ss , and the improved time thixotropic index analysis model can be modified to Equation (6). MTTI characterizes the thixotropy level of mastic asphalt binder under certain conditions.…”

“…Due to its long mixing time, it cannot be applied to large-scale production, making it difficult to popularize and apply. Relevant researchers began to study the methods of shortening the mixing time of mastic asphalt mixture to improve its production efficiency [6,7]. Due to the thixotropy of mastic asphalt mixture, the related research progress is slow.…”
