Electrochemical detection of carbendazim with mulberry fruit-like gold nanocrystal/multiple graphene aerogel and DNA cycle amplification

Abstract: Graphical abstract An aptasensor for electrochemical detection of carbendazim is reported with mulberry fruit-like gold nanocrystal (MF-Au)/multiple graphene aerogel (MGA) and DNA cycle amplification. HAuCl 4 was reduced by ascorbic acid in a CTAC solution containing KBr and KI and formed trioctahedron gold nanocrystal. The gold nanocrystal underwent structural evolution under enantioselective direction of l -cysteine. The resulting MF-Au shows a mulberr… Show more

“…A high level of carbendazim in food has been associated with some side effects in humans, such as endocrine disorders and cancers. This way, an aptasensor for electrochemical detection of carbendazim was developed by Jin and co-workers [140] with gold nanocrystal/multiple graphene aerogel and DNA cycle amplification. The gold nanocrystal underwent structural evolution under enantioselective direction of L-cysteine.…”

“…MIPs are ideal for use as sorbents in the detection of trace levels of pesticides because of their many intrinsic benefits, including their high selectivity, sensitivity [24], reusability, physicochemical stability [25], and cost-effectiveness [26]. In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in the fascination of utilizing molecularly imprinted polymers The detection of CBZ has been investigated using a wide range of analytical methods including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) [12,13], gas chromatography (GC) [5,9], liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with mass spectrometry (LC/MS-MS) [14,15], electrochemical techniques [16][17][18], and fluorescent sensors [19]. Additionally, various sample preparation procedures have been employed.…”

“…In particular, fungicides play the main role in the high productivity attained in agriculture via the control of fungi and insects. [1][2][3] Additionally, a fungus can seriously harm agriculture, leading to significant losses in output, profit, and quality. Fungicides are chemical substances that are applied to agricultural grounds to prevent and kill fungus spores.…”
