El presente trabajo utiliza dinámica de fluidos computacional para determinar la potencia por unidad de área aprovechable en un sistema propuesto para la regeneración de energía en vehículos de carga. El modelo consiste de dos bloques, uno bloque frontal que representa el tractocamión, y un prisma rectangular que representa el remolque. Múltiples diseños de ductos en el tractocamión son propuestos y simulados, para emular el flujo de aire a través de ellos a distintas condiciones de operación del vehículo. Se evalúa la potencia por unidad de área que se puede aprovechar en los ductos, así como el cambio en el arrastre respecto a la condición original del vehículo. Se determina la influencia de los parámetros geométricos del ducto sobre la potencia por unidad de área y el arrastre, y se presenta la eficiencia posible del sistema, mediante una comparación grafica del arrastre y la potencia por unidad de área aprovechable.

Abstract. The aim of aircraft engines development is the propulsion which is characterized by high powerto-mass ratio. Therefore, the alternative solutions that provide the required power by the low weight propulsion are sought after. The main advantage of these solutions is improvement of environmental and economic properties. This paper presents the overview of solutions and studies conducted for the unmanned aerial vehicles propulsion. For the purposes of studies a test bench was prepared. Its enables the comparison of the propulsion operating parameters taking into account changes in the values of thrust and propulsion power. The summary includes a proposal to improve the environmental indicators of propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles.

The main objective of this paper is to control the speed of Nonlinear Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) by controlling the throttle position. Various control techniques such as well known Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller in conjunction with state feedback controller (SFC) such as Pole Placement Technique (PPT), Observer Based Controller (OBC) and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) Controller are designed. Some Intelligent control techniques e.g. fuzzy logic PD, Fuzzy logic PI along with Adaptive Controller such as Self Organizing Controller (SOC) is also designed. The design objective in this research paper is to provide smooth throttle movement, zero steady-state speed error, and to maintain a Selected Vehicle (SV) speed. A comparative study is carried out in order to identify the superiority of optimal control technique so as to get improved fuel economy, reduced pollution, improved driving safety and reduced manufacturing costs.
