ELAZIG YÖRESİ KÖPEKLERİNDE GÖRÜLEN GASTROtNTESTtNAL HELMINT TÜRLERİYLE BUNLARIN YAYILIŞ ORANI VE HALK SAGLIGI YÖNÜNDEN ÖNEMLERt

Abstract

SUDlmaryThe results of a survey on the incidence of the gastro-intestinal helminths in 105 stray dogs in the city of Elazığ and its vicinity are deseribed.87.61 % of the dogs were fql1nd infected with diffcrent helminths.No trematodes ",ere found in these aniınals, but 8 different cestode and 4 neınatode species were revealed. Dipylidium caninum was the most common tapeworm and Toxocara canis roundworm encountered in these dogs with the percentage of 40 and 44.76 respectively.Özet Elazığ ve yöresi sokak köpeklerinde görülen helmint türleri ve bunların dağılış oranı üzerinde yaptığırmz araştırma sonucunda bunların % 87.61 inin bu parazitlerle enfekte olduklarını saptadık.Bu köpeklerin hiç birinde tremalod bulunamamış, buna karşın sekizi cestod ve dördü ncmatod olmak üzere toplam on iki değişik helmint türüne rastlanmıştır. Sestodlar içinde en fazla % 40 oranıyla Dipylidium caninum, nematodlardan ise % 44.76 ile Toxocara canis'e tesadüf edilmiştir.
