The aim of the research work is development of a model for optimizing the interface of a multimedia publication. In this research, five levels of interaction are identified for the interface of a multimedia publication -flat surfaces, layouts, structures, feature sets, strategies. The relationship between the levels of user interaction and interface properties of a multimedia publication is analyzed. It is proposed to select interface components based on the properties of the multimedia editions they provide.In order to construct models of optimization of elements of the interface of a multimedia publication, estimates of the interconnection of elements of the interface with functional capabilities by the total matrix are used. To combine the standard models into a single interface optimization model, an analysis of the relationship between the elements of the interface of the multimedia publication and the characteristics of the multimedia publication has been conducted. According to the results of the analysis, an economical tree is constructed, which allows to build a hierarchy of the stages of optimization of the interface of the multimedia publication and to determine the input data for the implementation of the task. The definition of the input data allows to show the principle of the interface optimization model in the form of a "black" box.An algorithm for optimizing the interface element of a multimedia publication is proposed. As a result of the practical implementation of the optimization model for the multimedia edition interface, a software product, created on the basis of HTML markup using cascading CSS style stylesheets and JavaScript language, was obtained. Adobe Device Central CS5 tested the created software on devices with different characteristics.

The methods of making a collective decision and choosing group matching procedures are analyzed. It is assumed that the methods of evaluation are given in the scales of qualitative order, including the binary relations of alternatives. The analysis of group selection procedures in the management of complex systems is carried out. The necessary preliminary conditions for the construction of mathematical models of group choice in the management of complex systems are systematized. The sequence of solving the problem is to analyze the conditions for the harmonization of the rules of group choice, requirements and serial relations, from the point of view of reasonableness in a group choice, algorithmization of procedures for the coordination of individual opinions. The development of mathematical models of formation of group decisions in different classes of relations is proposed. This pursued the goal of providing the «subtleties» of group choices. As rules of outgoing (basic) rules, rules of the type of majority apply. Repeated appeal to individuals involves clarifying their thoughts on the alternatives included in the group of the best. As a result, majoritarian relations were obtained and their generalizations, which express the general opinion of the whole group of experts. The formalization of interactive procedures for consistently obtaining the group consensus of expert opinions provided that the relations are transitive, including feedback on the convergence of opinions. The selectivity of the choice function is achieved by expanding the structure of the family of solving sets. The result of this formalization is the refinement of expert opinions on the alternatives included in the group of the best, but with a minimum number of votes. This formalization creates the necessary conditions for the processing of results in decision support information systems. Algorithmization of procedures for coordinating individual thoughts in the management of publishing. The proposed algorithm allows to account for the initial opinions of all experts and customers of the publishing house in the form of a profile of individual selection functions. As a result, a sequence of steps has been formed to reconcile individual thoughts in the management of publishing.

The article analyzes special features and principles of constructing the user interface and substantiates the authors methodical approach to the development of the intellectual user interface of educational publications in the e-learning system. Besides, the "user interface" concept is analyzed and types of user interfaces are considered. For representatives of each representative system, the article gives a list of typical ways of perceiving environmental information that should be considered in developing the user interface of educational publications. The main features of procedurally-oriented and object-oriented types of user interface are considered and their main parameters are presented. The implementation of an innovative component in the development interface of educational publications in the e-learning system is proposed to be implemented by adding the properties of adaptability to the user interface. Provisions are determined that define the user interface concept, on the basis of which the principles of constructing adaptive interfaces are formed. The basic principles of visual design of mental maps of electronic educational publications for the e-learning system are offered. The main features provided by the mental map are presented in the form of a visual diagram. The didactic interface of the developed e-learning edition is considered and the scheme of the user and publication interaction is given. The focus group method evaluates the user interface quality of the created e-learning publication.
