Elaboration of metal (M: Co, Cu, Ni, Fe) embedded poly(acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) hydrogel nanocomposites: An attempt to synthesize uncommon architectured “Auto-active” nanocatalysts for treatment of dyeing wastewater
“…These trends suggested that increasing ionic valence number may restrict the swelling behavior of hydrogels. 51 As shown in Table 2, g-PGA hydrogels swelled in different ionic solutions did not have any signicant change in the surface. The result showed that g-PGA hydrogels swelled in DI water and ionic solutions both have a rough wrinkled surface without obvious holes.…”
In this paper, a novel poly γ-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) hydrogel was successfully synthesized by solution polymerization and ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE) was used as crosslinker.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
