Efisiensi Teknis Usahatani Kedelai Pada Lahan Tadah Hujan Dan Lahan Kering Di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, Aceh

Abstract: National soybean productivity was reach 1,45 tons per hectare, while the potential yield reach 2,0-3,0 tons per hectare. The aim of this study was to analyze the factors affecting technical efficiency, and sources of technical inefficiency of soybean farming. This study used primary data that were obtained from 100 farmers purposively, those data were analyzed by production function analysis that stochastic frontier to analyzed the factors that influence the production of technical efficiency of soybean farmin… Show more

“…The land factor has a positive effect on the level of farm acceptance, although it is not significant. Whereas in the case of several studies, it was stated that the land factor had the most influence on production in dryland farming activities [10,14,19].…”

“…This is presumably because the level of efficiency in the use of production factors in dryland is not optimal, such as farming in wetlands. Several cases of research results also state that farming in wet or rainfed land tends to be more efficient than dryland farming [10]. The level of soil fertility on dryland, which is generally low, results in the use of production inputs that tend to be high so that it has an impact on farming costs [11].…”
